Wynonna Judd Postpones Concerts After Husband Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident
The country singer canceled scheduled concerts in Canada next week following husband Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser's accident Saturday.
Country singer Wynonna Judd has postponed concerts scheduled in Canada next week after her husband, Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.
Judd and Moser were riding on separate bikes before her concert in Deadwood, South Dakota on Saturday when Moser collided with an oncoming vehicle. Wynonna managed to avoid injury, but her new husband was quickly airlifted to a local hospital, where he is being treated for serious "but non-life threatening injuries," according to a statement Wynonna released through a representative.
Moser was cited for crossing the center line and for not having a motorcycle license. Following the accident, Judd canceled her Saturday night show in Deadwood. Moser is also Judd's drummer.
"The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I," she said in a statement. "Cactus is a champion. I love him deeply and I will not leave his side."
The newlyweds were married in June in a small ceremony in Tennessee following a six-month engagement.
