Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer's Earnings Drop 32 Percent to $24.9 Million in 2013
Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer earned $24.9 million in 2013, down from $36.6 million a year prior, the Internet company said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.
Mayer's 32 percent drop in compensation was primarily due to stock awards, which went from $35 million in 2012, her first year on the job, to 48.3 million in 2013.
in 2013, Yahoo stock advanced 103 percent, though it's down 10 percent so far this year. On Wednesday, it rose percent to $36.35.
Ken Goldman, the CFO, made $6 million, down from $7.5 million.
David Filo, a co-founder and "chief Yahoo," made his usual $1 salary and nothing more, as has been the case for three consecutive years.
Ronald Bell, the general counsel, made $5 million, up from $1.7 million.
Henrique de Castro, the former COO, was paid $10.9 million, down from $39.2 million a year earlier.
