Ian Moffitt, who served as Yahoo’s head of original programming from 2014 to 2016, has joined ICM Partners as a senior agent.

The London-based Moffitt will work in the agency’s international scripted and unscripted television businesses, and report jointly to board member and television literary agent Kevin Crotty and international television and media head Michael Kagan.

“Ian is an immensely respected and well-liked executive,” Crotty and Kagan, both partners, said Tuesday in a joint statement. “We’ve had the pleasure of working with him over the years and are so pleased to have him on our team. He will be a great advocate in the U.K for ICM Partners.”

Before he was at Yahoo, Moffitt served as head of premium content for Machinima. Prior to that, he was head of digital video at Berman Braun and senior vp programming and business development at BBC Worldwide Productions, where he oversaw the adaptation of U.K. scripted programs for the American market.

ICM also has promoted two coordinators to agent: Los-Angeles based Michael Charny in the TV lit department, and New York-based Arielle Lever in international television and media. Charny joined the agency as a trainee in 2012, with Lever doing the same a year later.
