Meanwhile, the beauty website recruits a new COO

Since being named Yahoo Fashion's editor-in-chief in April, Joe Zee has been growing his staff with major recruits from top publications, including Sarah Cristobal from V Magazine and Dora Fung from CR Fashion Book. Earlier this week, Zee added Into the Gloss co-founder Nick Axelrod to the roster, where he'll join as contributing editor.

While the beauty website Into the Gloss — which features fun pieces such as "Lipstick For People Who Snack Constantly" (guilty), as well interviews with boldface beauties like Shailene Woodley and Kristen Stewart — is now without Axelrod and its former co-founder Michael Harper, Fashionista reports that co-founder Emily Weiss has hired Henry Davis from Index Ventures in London as its COO. Davis will be leading ITG's business development, and given that the site raised $2 million in funding last September, we can only expect to see major growth from the always cool, in-the-know-of-all-things-beauty site with its new hire.
