Yahoo Partners With Asian Short Film Platform Viddsee
Content from short indie film site Viddsee will be promoted through Yahoo Entertainment pages in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
TOKYO – Viddsee, the Singapore-based short film online platform, is linking with Yahoo to promote content from Asian independent filmmakers through a dedicated channel.
The Asian Short Films channel will be curated by Viddsee and hosted on the Yahoo Entertainment pages for Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Viddsee was launched in February 2013 and adds an average of one new short film, which are all subtitled in English, to its offerings every day.
“We are excited to take Asian short films to the next level by showcasing them through the Yahoo network,” said Ho Jia Jian, co-founder of Viddsee.
“Short film viewings are often limited to film festivals. We are changing the game by bringing our vast user base to some incredible film content,” said Alan Soon, managing editor of Yahoo South East Asia.
