'You're Not You' Adds Loretta Devine, Ali Larter, Jason Ritter to Cast (Exclusive)
Ernie Hudson, Frances Fisher, Marcia Gay Harden and Julian McMahon will also be featured in George C. Wolfe's adaptation starring Hilary Swank and Emmy Rossum.
You’re Not You, a drama starring Hilary Swank and Emmy Rossum, has rounded out the major players of its supporting cast as it heads into production this week in Los Angeles.
Emmy winner Loretta Devine, Ernie Hudson, Frances Fisher, Marcia Gay Harden, Ali Larter, Jason Ritter, Julian McMahon and Andrea Savage have joined the production, which is being directed by George C. Wolfe.
The adaptation of the Michelle Wildgen book centers on an aimless and self-absorbed college student (Rossum) whose life is changed when she takes a part-time job caring for a woman (Swank) with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Josh Duhamel also is already cast.

Devine is playing a fellow ALS patient whom Swank befriends, while Hudson is Devine’s husband.
Fisher will play Swank’s domineering mother, while Harden will play Rossum’s mother. Larter will play Swank’s upscale best friend while Savage another one of her friends.
Meanwhile, Ritter and McMahon will play competing love interests for Rossum’s college student’s heart.
You is being billed as a Daryl Prince Productions in association with Di Novi Pictures and 2S Films. Swank and her 2S Films partner Molly Smith are producing along with Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan of DiNovi Pictures.
Devine won an Emmy in 2011 for her work in Grey’s Anatomy and is coming off another Emmy nomination for her work this past year. She is repped by Innovative and Essential Talent Management.

Hudson, still best known for his Ghostbusters work, appears regularly on ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager. He is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates/Fortitude
Veteran actress Fisher next appears in The Host, Andrew Niccol’s adaptation of the Stephenie Meyer novel. She is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency, Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management and Bloom Hergott.
Harden gained Oscar attention for her work in Pollock and Mystic River. She is repped by UTA, Framework Entertainment and Schreck Rose.
Ritter recurred on NBC’s Parenthood and will appear as Charles Manson in the indie crime drama I Fought the Law. He is repped by ICM Partners and Burstein Co.
McMahon is best known for starring in Nip/Tuck, playing Dr. Doom in Fox’s Fantastic Four movies and for his appearance opposite Bruce Willis in the action movie Red. He is repped by WME, Roar and Bloom Hergott.
