A newly married couple taking wedding photos in New York got an unexpected surprise in their portraits.
Former Scrubs star Zach Braff happened to be walking by the shoot and photobombed the couple with an ecstatic look on his face, resulting in a hilarious, once-in-a-lifetime image.
The photographer, Sascha Reinking, wrote in a blog post that the German couple had already gotten married in their home country but wanted to take wedding photos during their vacation in New York. It wasn't until Reinking got home and started editing the images that he noticed Braff's cameo in a shot taken in Times Square.
He wrote: "I scanned through the set and his face looked familiar. 'Is that Zach Braff?' To find out I posted the photo on some of my Photographer Facebook Groups and the verdict was pretty clear. It definitely looked like Zach Braff had photobombed our session. But to be 100% sure I put the shot on my FACEBOOK PAGE and tweeted the image to Mr. Braff saying: 'Sir, I think you photobombed my newlywed couple the other day in New York. :) Well played…"
Braff then confirmed that the image was him by tweeting it out to his followers with the message: "This is one of my best photobombs ever."
Braff, who most recently appeared on the big screen in Oz the Great and Powerful, next stars in Wish I Was Here, which he co-wrote and directs.
