Zachary Quinto: What's Next for the Actor
The former "Heroes" star, who came out as gay over the weekend, has a few projects in the works.
Zachary Quinto made headlines by revealing he's gay over the weekend. But, that's not the only news the actor's making.
Quinto, who is currently in theaters as Anna Faris' love interest in What's Your Number, is signed on for quite a few things in the upcoming months.
First up, the actor will debut his indie production company Before the Door Pictures' first film, Margin Call Oct. 21. Quinto, who stars in the movie alongside Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Paul Bettany, Stanley Tucci and Demi Moore, sold the project to Lionsgate/Roadside Attractions for two million at Sundance. The film focuses on a 24-hour time period at an investment bank during the beginning of the financial meltdown.
Next, Quinto will play a recurring guest star in American Horror Story on FX. In his first TV project since appearing on NBC's Heroes, he'll play Chad, a gay former owner of the haunted home where Ben (Dylan McDermott) and Vivien (Connie Britton) live. His first episode in the series will be the first installment of the show's two-part Halloween episode.
Quinto is also gearing up to return to his Star Trek roots, reprising his role as Spock in J.J. Abrams' sequel to the 2009 smash hit, which is set to start filming in January.
