Zoe Kravitz, a Pink Lady With Edge
Forget only wearing pink on Wednesdays.
The Dress: A crushed velvet sleeve-tie dress from Sies Marjan's spring 2017 collection.
The Wearer: Rough Night star and red-carpet risk-taker Zoe Kravitz, who is typically styled by Andrew Mukamal, a former assistant to powerhouse publicist Kelly Cutrone.
The Event: Kravitz's Good Morning America appearance in New York City on Thursday.
Why It Matters: Make no doubt, Kravitz wears the clothes — clothes don't wear her. Case in point: The actress wasn't afraid of being too matchy-matchy when she paired her pretty pink dress with sandals in the same light rosy hue. Her blonde pixie cut added an extra edge to what could have appeared as looking too precious — the perfect balance of sugar and spice, if you will. All-black sunnies and a slouchy gold handbag rounded out her cool ladylike look.
Designer Sander Lak has been one to watch since he debuted his first Sies Marjan womenswear collection during New York Fashion Week's fall 2016 season. In addition to dressing fashion favorites Zoe Saldana, Sarah Paulson and Instagram's Eva Chen, he also earned a CFDA Award nomination for Swarovski's Emerging Talent Award this year. The label is named after Lak's father's and mother's given names, respectively.
Where to Buy: The dress is available at The Line in New York City for $990.
