Benicio del Toro, Josh Hutcherson and director Andrea di Stefano will attend

Escobar: Paradise Lost, the biopic starring Oscar-winner Benicio del Toro as the notorious Columbian drug lord, will get a gala screening at this year's Zurich International Film Festival.

Del Toro will attend the fest with co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Claudia Traisac and director Andrea di Stefano.

Escobar premiered to strong reviews at Telluride earlier this week and will screen in Toronto on Sept. 11.

The film, in which Traisac plays Escobar's niece and Hutcherson an American surfer who falls for her, then heads to San Sebastian, where it will close the festival's Pearls section on Sept. 27 and Del Toro will receive the Donostia Award for lifetime achievement. The movie screens in Zurich on Sept. 28.

Radius-TWC is releasing Escobar: Paradise Lost in the US on Nov. 26.
