Currently in their 28th year, the annual Spirit Awards is the premiere awards event for the independent film community.
The SNL veteran earned a Spirit nomination for 2012's Celeste and Jesse Forever.
The Spirit Awards will air on Feb. 23 on IFC at 10 p.m.
