Michael Fassbender, Carey Mulligan Seduce in 'Shame' International Trailer (Video)
Steve McQueen's drama about a sex addict and his sister will be released by Fox Searchlight on December 2.
Michael Fassbender first teamed up with director Steve McQueen for his 2008 film, Hunger, which quickly made Fassbender a known name and led the actor to his other starring roles over the years in Inglourious Basterds, X-Men: First Class, and the upcoming A Dangerous Method. The actor and director have teamed up once again for the controversial Shame, about a sex addict (Fassbender) and his needy sister (Carey Mulligan).

The first international trailer for the film hit the web on Friday, showing a dark, tortured soul named Brandon (Fassbender) who spends his time working and wooing women into bed. When his sister (Mulligan), a lounge singer, comes to town, she interrupts his routine in an effort to help him escape his own demons.
“You’re a weight on me, you’re a burden,” says Brandon to his sister.
“We’re family. We’re meant to look after each other,” she responds.

The film – which contains plenty of sex scenes and full frontal nudity from Mulligan and Fassbender – will see release into theaters on December 2.
