SAG Sets Deadline for Awards Submissions

Thursday, Oct. 27, is the deadline for submissions for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Actors may submit their own performances from 2011 for consideration in the acting and TV categories of their choosing. With the actor’s permission, producers, studios/networks, agents, managers or publicists may also submit performances for consideration in the category designated by the actor.

The nominations will be chosen by two separate film and television nominating panels, each comprised of 2,100 SAG members from across the United States, who were randomly selected in April.

Nomination ballots will be mailed Wednesday, Nov. 23, and voting closes Monday, Dec. 12.

Nominations will be announced Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, telecast live on TNT at 9:00 a.m. ET/6:00 a.m. PT and webcast live on tnt.tv and tbs.com.

The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will take place Sunday, Jan. 29, and  will be simulcast live from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on TNT and TBS.
