For the cast and crew on David Robert Mitchell's Under the Silver Lake, holiday cheer came courtesy of the indie film's star, Andrew Garfield.

After learning that they would be shooting on Christmas Eve, Garfield, who is nominated for a Golden Globe for his work in Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge, organized a food truck to drop by the set and surprise his colleagues since they would all be working on the holiday. His pick? Free Range LA, best known for its fried chicken and egg creations.

Garfield's rep didn't respond to a request for comment. Free Range LA chef and founder Jesse Furman tells The Hollywood Reporter that they were "honored" to be asked. "The event for Andrew Garfield was awesome. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food," he says.

Garfield stars in the modern noir crime thriller for A24 opposite Riley Keough along with actors Jimmi Simpson and Topher Grace.
