The holidays are when Hollywood heads for the hills to places like Sun Valley, Idaho, which just opened its slopes for the winter season. Arnold Schwarzenegger was recently spotted flying solo on Bald Mountain, hitting the slopes before 9 a.m. to ski the "corduroy.” When a skier remarked to the former California Governor that his holiday pic Jingle All the Way was playing on a hotel TV the previous evening, he replied, “I know! I watched a little bit of it!”

Coincidentally, Rita Wilson, Schwarzenegger’s co-star in the 1996 film — panned by critics with a dismal 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes — just so happened to also be staying at the newly-renovated Sun Valley Resort along with hubby Tom Hanks, Colin Hanks and the rest of their clan.

The family was spotted checking out the hotel’s new modern look, even riding the elevator down to the bowling alley where Wilson played tourist and took pics of the property. It’s back to work for Wilson this week when she opens an eight date run at the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater at the Geffen Playhouse with “Liner Notes: Songwriters, Stories and Music with Rita Wilson and Friends” from Dec. 10-19.
