Oscars: See Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Walmart Ad Set to Debut During the Telecast

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have brought a Walmart receipt to life.

The producing partners and filmmaking pair co-directed a new one-minute short film that will debut during Sunday's Oscar telecast as part of a new advertising partnership between the retailer and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. As previously reported, Walmart has hired filmmakers Antoine Fuqua, Marc Forster, Rogen and Goldberg to each create an original narrative that pulls a story from the same origin: a Walmart receipt that has six items on it including bananas, paper towels, batteries, a scooter, wrapping paper and a video baby monitor. 

A rep for Walmart offered The Hollywood Reporter an early look at the Rogen and Goldberg spot, which can be seen here. It opens in a school classroom where a teacher has written on the blackboard "Finding inspiration in unusual places."
