'A Fantastic Fear of Everything' Trailer Debuts (Video)
Simon Pegg stars in the quirky dark comedy about a writer obsessed with death.
While this weekend may have been all about the fluffy Easter bunnies, a disturbing-looking hedgehog also appeared on the scene in the first trailer for A Fantastic Fear of Everything.
The British indie comedy stars Simon Pegg as Jack, a children’s author obsessed with death. He has a past that includes a fear of the Laundromat, and a connection to a hedgehog stuffed-animal.
The first trailer for the film looks quirky, manic and quite entertaining. It looks like the film will include some nightmares that could easily give moviegoers nightmares of their own.
The film is written and directed by musician-turned-filmmaker Crispian Mills. He is joined by co-director and animator Chris Hopewell, whose award-winning work includes Radiohead’s "There There" and The Killers’ “Smile Like You Mean It."
Universal Pictures will release the film in the U.K., Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. Indomina will release the film in the U.S. and is handling worldwide sales. The film opens on June 8 in the U.K., but a U.S. release date has not yet been released.
