Brad Tiemann and Donnie Eichar have begun production on a documentary about the global electronic music scene. Black Box Theory and C2 Entertainment are producing.
The filmmakers will follow five of the most influential DJs over a year through France, the Netherlands, Spain, Canada, Switzerland, Chile, L.A., New York, Miami and Las Vegas as they make and release new music and prepare for a secret festival show.
Scott London (Half Nelson) will be an executive producer. Joel Zimmerman of WME's electronic music department will work with the team as a creative consultant.
Tiemann and Eichar, who are repped by Leverage Management, directed and produced the MTV reality series The Buried Life, which followed four friends trying to complete items on a list of things they want to do before they die.
