The Academy Award nominated actor was previously represented by ICM.
James Caan, best known for his Academy Award nominated performance in The Godfather, has signed with Paradigm in all areas.
The actor, whose five-decade career has included films such as Funny Lady (1975), Misery (1990) and Elf (2003), was previously represented by ICM.
Caan is set to begin shooting Columbia’s I Hate You, Dad, the Adam Sandler- and Andy Samberg-starring comedy, later this month. The film will also feature Susan Sarandon and Leighton Meester.
His son, actor Scott Caan, is also represented by Paradigm.
The elder Caan has been nominated for a Golden Globe three times, and an Emmy Award in 1971 for his portrayal of Brian Piccolo in Brian's Song, the 1971 ABC Movie of the Week.
One year later, he received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance as Sonny Corleone in The Godfather. Caan lost out to Joel Grey, who won for his role in Cabaret.
Caan’s lawyer is Jake Bloom of Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal LaViolette Feldman Schenkman and Goodman LLP.
