Millennium’s home-invasion thriller will show at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The first noticeable thing in the trailer for Trespass is Nicolas Cage’s oversized glasses.

Once you move beyond the eyewear, you’ll realize that the film is about a husband (Cage) and wife (Nicole Kidman) pair who are held hostage by a group of masked home invaders.

According to the trailer, it turns out that the masked men have been trailing the family for some time, and that there’s a connection between the wife and one of the robbers.

Joel Schumacher (Falling Down, Phone Booth) directs the psychological thriller, which will make its festival debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. Tresspass is set to arrive in theaters on October 14.
