Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell has signed with talent agency APA.

'Pretty Little Liars': New 'A' Team Member Revealed

Mitchell plays Emily Fields, one of four main characters on the teen mystery-thriller that airs on ABC Family.

Liars' season three midseason closer hit a season-high 3 million viewers on Aug. 28, slightly above the season premiere when it averaged 2.93 million. The series is based on novels of the same name by Sara Shepard.

After a stint as a teen model, Mitchell began her acting career with a turn on Degrassi: The Next Generation. She later appeared on Disney XD's Aaron Stone and ABC's Rookie Blue.

Mitchell is the national spokesperson for the Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion collection and is an ambassador for the Somaly Mam Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses on combating the global sex trade.
