Starring Chris Messina and Marin Ireland, the film tracks an affair between the two main characters as it grows into a deeper relationship in the titular locations.
Lynette Howell, Louise Runge and Samantha Housman produced the project; Messina, Andrew Meieran, Stefan Nowicki, Joey Carey and Alex Sagalchik are executive producers.
“I speak for the whole team behind 28 Hotel Rooms when I say how absolutely thrilled we are that Oscilloscope Laboratories will be releasing our film," said Ross. "Their catalogue speaks volumes about the quality of independent voices they champion and we are all incredibly honored to be included in that illustrious company.”
Oscilloscope execs David Fenkel and David Laub negotiated the deal with Kevin Iwashina and Christine D'Souza of Preferred Content and Elsa Ramo on behalf of the filmmakers. Elle Driver is repping international sales at the European Film Market in Berlin.
Oscilloscope has picked up the Sundance films Howl, Rebirth and Bellflower in recent years. The company recently released We Need to Talk About Kevin.
