WME to Represent Palo Alto-based Outfit7
The talent agency will represent Outfit7, creators of the popular "Talking Friends" series of mobile applications.
Mobile application developer Outfit7, creator of the Talking Friends series of mobile phone and tablet computer apps, has signed with WME in all areas.
Outfit7 is best know for its Talking Tom Cat and Talking Ben the Dog applications, which feature 3D characters that users can interact with — tickling, prodding and poking the animated animals. The characters also repeat what users say.
The Palo Alto, Calif.-based company, which also has an office in Ljubljana, Slovenia, has released 12 Talking Friends apps. Outfit7’s applications have been downloaded more than 135 million times.
WME will look to bring the company’s characters to other mediums, including film, television and books. Outfit7’s other characters include Talking Santa and Talking Gina the Giraffe.
The company’s applications are available on the Android and iOS platform.
