WHY THEY MATTER

The bicoastal styling duo styled nine actresses for the Globes alone, one of them co-host Amy Poehler. Her custom Stella McCartney wardrobe catapulted the Parks and Recreation actress from comic-cute to fashionably chic overnight, while Olivia Wilde‘s green Gucci made her one of the most stylish pregnant ladies ever.

THEIR TOP LOOKS

“It was a non-traditional design that was super flattering,” says Harris of Wright’s Ralph Lauren black gown with a graphic-print bodice at the Emmys (No. 10). Adds Wright: “It had a female Matrix thing going on.” The stylist describes the actress as “drama free,” and Wright returns the praise: “Kemal doesn’t push, there’s no forcing the style.” Moss’ beaded black and red J. Mendel design with cap sleeves impressed at the Globes (No. 11). “It was perfect,” says the Mad Men actress.

OSCAR PHILOSOPHY

For Her‘s Wilde, who wore a mod-style, black and white Valentino, “We try to keep in mind color and texture,” says Harris. “Our girls need to stand out in the crowd, so a fun pop of color or a cool beading detail helps differentiate them.”

You can put a paper bag on Robin Wright and she will always look amazing.

Really? I would never have thought of her as particularly stylish.

She’s not a fashion victim in real life, which only makes her more cool and the opposite of a try-hard. Just watch House of Cards, where she’s always dress up, and you’ll get it. :-)
