Pamela Anderson Sued by Former Lawyers Over Unpaid Bill
Pamela Anderson's lawyers have taken her to court in an effort to collect on an allegedly unpaid bill.
Glaser Weil FInk Jacobs Howard Avchen & Shapiro, the Century City law firm that handles such entertainment clients as Conan O'Brien and Keith Olbermann, petitioned the Los Angeles Superior court on Tuesday to compel an arbitration with Anderson over $66,134.91 in fees plus interest.
The nature of the representation is not mentioned in the legal petition, a copy of which was obtained by THR, but the court papers say the firm and its partner John Mason were engaged to handle certain transaction work for the model/actress and former Baywatch star.
The firm, which was hired in April 2011, represented Anderson until later in the year. It sent a letter in December threatening an arbitration if the actress didn't pay up.
