The Cast and Crew of 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist'

Director Mira Nair on wanting to make a film about "Contemporary Pakistan" and how the movie was received at the Toronto Film Festival.  Speaking about the terrorist strike on September 11th Kiefer Sutherland added, "9/11 was an unbelievable traumatic event, I was in Los Angeles when it happened and.. rightfully so we acknowledged the victims of 9/11 and we think of the people in the towers and we think of the people that were on the planes, the families of the people that were lost but I think certainly after twelve years since 9/11 it is an important time to take a look back at all the other casualties from that day."
