Christopher Plummer 'Beginners' Indie Spirit Awards

Christopher Plummer won the best supporting male award at the Indie Spirit Awards for his work in Beginners.
When asked about the pros and cons of doing independant movies he said, "I think independents are where the talent lies, it's wonderful to do a big blockbuster studio picture, it's great fun. But I think the provocative thoughtful pictures and odd quirky ones come out of the independents."
