David O. Russell on the Palm Springs International Film Festival

Director David O. Russell on the importance of the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the making his Golden Globe nominated drama. David previously won the PSIFF Director of the Year Award for his 2011 movie The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams.
Talking about his lead actor Bradley Cooper who won the Desert Palm Achievement Award, David said, "I could tell he was very moved so to recognized and do the work that he did and to be recognized by everybody here, all of those directors in the room and Tom Hanks and Bob Zemeckis, Ben Affleck and Tom Hooper was wonderful and then to make them all sing happy birthday to Bradley was pretty fun too."
