'The Dirties' Director Matt Johnson on His Movie About School Shootings

The writer, director, actor stopped by our THR offices to talk about his new movie focusing on school violence and what it was like to win an award for Best Narrative Feature at the Slamdance Film Festival. "One of the reasons why we thought this movie was important was because it is getting at this issue of school violence and bullying in a way that the mainstream media just doesn't want to touch it," says Johnson.
