Ellen Burstyn on Her 'Political Animals' Character

Ellen Burstyn talks about playing Sigourney Weaver's over-the-top mother in USA's Political Animals.

Asked what drew her to the role, in which she drinks and curses with abandon, Burstyn responds: "Greg Berlanti (the series creator) asked me and I liked him very much. I was impressed with the script, he was a really interesting writer and I've always loved great writers."
