James Spader on Preparing for 'Lincoln'

James Spader shares how he prepared to play W.N. Bilbo in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln and the shape of politics today compared to when Abraham Lincoln was President. He added, "We had to figure out what he looked like because there weren't any pictures available of him. And with a period piece I like to do a certain amount of homework in terms of just getting imagery in my head for the time and the place but that was also served enormously well because we were filming in Richmond, Virginia."
