John Hawkes: Indie Spirit Awards

Martha Marcy May Marlene actor John Hawkes, nominated in the best supporting actor category, recalls filming Winter's Bone with Jennifer Lawrence prior to the Hunger Games pandemonium.

As for his favorite aspect of awards season, the actor says: "Certainly meeting people that are heroes, I think. And making movies is a lot of work and it's kind of fun to just be around some fantastic filmmakers and storytellers. Just to be able to enjoy and not worry that you have a scene coming up."
