Jordan Roberts on His New Comedy '3, 2, 1... Frankie Go Boom'
12:46 PM PDT 10/8/2012 by THR Staff
Director Jordan Roberts reveals that some of his characters are loosely based on his own family members including Ron Perlman's character Phyllis who is based on his sister.
Jordan shares that his favorite scene in the movie is the sex scene between Lizzy Caplan and Charlie Hunnam. He added, "In the middle of this farce there is this actual moment of human connection, which is not easy to do and we knew it wasn't going to be easy to pull off. They did it and it exist in the film, it is a farce and not necessarily a funny scene but there is funny stuff in it. I just knew that the movie was going to live or die on the authenticity on the connection of those two characters and they nailed it."
