Best supporting actor nominee Max von Sydow on Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close being nominated for Best Picture.
Von Sydow admitted that he wasn't surprised by the nomination, he said, "It's a very warm film. It's a film about love and about hope and it points forward. Of course, there are dark clouds in the background, but the direction of the story goes forward and it's a very positive story."
