Mira Nair, Riz Ahmed on Making 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist'

Director Mira Nair on the message of her new drama and the obstacles she encountered while trying to get funding for the film. Mira went on to say, "You never see a film by an Indian director about a Pakistani situation, you almost never see a film where the central character is a young Asian man who is supported around a very nuance and leered roles by the likes of A-list Hollywood actors, Liev Schreiber, Kiefer Sutherland, Kate (Hudson), the whole balance of power is different in this film."
