Ex-NFL Star David Kopay: Drug Use Was Rampant in the League

The former 49er and Redskin opens up about the unbridled drug use by professional football players in the 1960s. 

"Some teams, like the Washington Redskins, they actually had a guy dictated by the coach, George Allen, to pass out speed," says Kopay. "And some of the guys would say, 'I'll see you on Tuesday.' "
