Photographer Robert Landau shares how he got involved in photographing billboards on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Robert reveals that the thought for a book was first brought to his attention when he did a slide show at the Getty Museum, "About 20 of them were these billboards and as I gave the show everybody really keyed off on the billboards, they said "These are amazing and you've got to do a book" and I thought yeah you are right there should be a book about this because it was a very unique period in art and advertising and music when this happened and I was fortunate enough to be there at the right time and the right place" he added.
