Sarah Jones Memorial: Cinematographer Calls 'Midnight Rider' Shooting Location 'Insane'
Cinematographer Nancy Schreiber attends a candlelight walk and memorial for the late camera assistant, telling THR, "It's just so tragic." Schreiber, who did not work on the film, also questions the safety of the production for the Gregg Allman biopic, saying the location manager for the movie refused to come to work if they shot on the train trestle where Jones would later die.
"When you see the picture from above of the bridge … it's crazy. It's insane. People have gone insane," says Schreiber.
