'Game of Thrones' Star Kit Harington Teases 'Immense' Season 4 (Video)
Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on HBO's Game of Thrones, was worried that there would be no way to top the shocking, bloody and wildly entertaining third season.
But he says they've done that with season four, which will premiere on Sunday, April 6.
"It's immense -- it's very epic," the actor told The Hollywood Reporter when he visited the video lounge at Comic-Con in July.
After spending most of the past two seasons in Iceland to film the north of the Wall scenes, Harington says he gets to return to shooting in Belfast for much of season four.
But he's taking plenty of memories about his time in Iceland with him.
"Iceland was a lot of fun to shoot in," he said. "It's one of the hardest languages to speak, Icelandic. I can just say 'Takk,' which means thank you."
"The food is very bizarre and weird. It's like goat's brains and stuff like that," says Harington. "And fermented shark, it is something strange, not quite to my palate."
Harington, who has played the bastard son of Eddard Stark since season one premiered in 2011, says he knows this character "really well" by this time. When THR asked what Jon Snow would have on his iPod, Harington had it figured out.
"He's pretty emo. I think he'd listen to some pretty depressing music," he said.
