The cast of Mean Girls is celebrating Oct. 3 (known as Mean Girls Day, thanks to Lindsay Lohan's famous line in the flick) a bit differently this year.
Mean Girls stars Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese and Jonathan Bennett are asking fans to honor Oct. 3 by donating $3 to the National Compassion Fund, a program in the National Center for Victims of Crime. The actors are hoping to raise $300,000 for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting, which has been called the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
At press time, $6,004 was raised.
According to the GoFundMe page created online, the organization has previously worked with victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting and the Aurora shooting.
As Chabert says in the video, "We know fetch is never gonna happen, but we can make this happen."
In the past, the cast has celebrated the holiday with tweets, then-and-now photos and memes. The date each year has also become a social media phenomenon, with fans posting their favorite quotes from the film ("You go Glenn Coco!") and of course, GIFs of Cady Heron (Lohan) telling her crush, Aaron Samuels (Bennett), that it's Oct. 3.
