American Cinema Editors on Tuesday announced the timeline for its 70th annual ACE Eddie Awards, which will be held Friday, Jan. 17, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. ACE reported that the earlier ceremony date and schedule reflects a shift in timing due to the truncated awards season prompted by the Oscars moving up to Feb. 9, 2020.

Submissions will open Sept. 13 and close Nov. 1.
