The Cinerama-like Barco Escape theatrical format has grown its installed base to 20 theaters.

All 20 will show Twentieth Century Fox’s Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials with roughly 20 minutes created in the immersive format.

The tri-screen, tri-projector system debuted to audiences in the United States and Europe in fall 2014 with roughly 10 minutes of The Maze Runner presented in the format in just a handful of supported theaters.

In Los Angeles, Escape can be found at Cinemark XD. New sites are in states including California, Washington and Texas. A new installation at Cinépolis Bucareli in Mexico City is the first site in Mexico.

Maze Runner 2 is part of a five-year, multi-title per year agreement with Fox to release more films for Escape. Last  spring, Barco also inked a deal with Jerry Bruckheimer Films, which will use the Escape technology on an upcoming project and to re-envision a classic Bruckheimer film in the format.

Later this year, a Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga concert will be released for Barco Escape screens.
