Dancing with the Stars Finale

Scenic artist Patrick DeGreve will receive an Art Directors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award from the scenic, title & graphic artists group of the guild, during the 25th annual ADG Awards, which will be presented virtually on April 10.

DeGreve worked for 45 years as a scenic artist at CBS TV City on shows including The Carol Burnett Show, Jeopardy, The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, Dancing With the Stars, Archie Bunker’s Place, Three’s Company, Survivor, The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune and It's Worth What?

He also worked on TV specials including The Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon, Hairspray Live! and CBS ... 50 Years From Television City.

"Pat’s artistry, influence and guidance made the STG what it is today. While I never had the privilege of working with Pat at Television City, so many of our members did, and Pat shaped their lives for the better. His unwavering commitment to his craft serves as a model for all of us, to set high standards for our work and take pride in what we produce,” said Clint Schultz, STG council chairperson.

DeGreve is a past vice president of Local 800 and chair of the STG Council.

The scenic artist also builds furniture, kayaks and guitars. His unique guitars are donated to charities such as the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.

As previously announced, production designer Stuart Wurtzel and set decorator Martha Johnston also will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards during the ADG ceremony. And Ryan Murphy will accept the guild's Cinematic Imagery Award.
