Deluxe Hands Out Some New Roles in Creative Services Unit

Deluxe’s creative service unit – which includes postproduction brands Company 3, Beast, Deluxe New York, Encore, EFilm, Level 3 Post, Method Studios and Rushes – has reorganized some roles in an effort to “maximize synergy,” the company announced on Tuesday.

Colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld, founder and president of Company 3, was already head of creative services and he recently added the title CEO. Another longtime exec, Bill Romeo, assumed the title of CMO.

THR has learned that, as part of these changes, Jay Bodnar, the company’s senior vp of engineering for TV, will assume the new title of CTO, creative services; and Larry Kelly, vp of finance, Method Studios, assumes the title of CFO, creative services.

Serving as COO is Joshua Touber, who joined Deluxe several months ago. It was a homecoming of sorts as he previously served as COO for the former Ascent Media Group, which had been the parent company of many of the creative services brands before their acquisition by Deluxe.

Meanwhile, the new Santa Monica facility, which will house Company 3 and Method, is still under construction and is expected to open early next year.
