'Gravity' Composer Steve Price Talks Scoring Netflix's 'Our Planet' in 'Behind the Screen' Podcast

The eight-part documentary series explores the natural world while addressing climate change.

Steve Price, the Oscar-winning composer of Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity, discusses his career and the score on Netflix’s eight-part documentary series Our Planet, in a new episode of The Hollywood Reporter's Behind the Screen podcast series.

Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, Our Planet explores our natural world and includes an urgent call to action to address climate change. It’s made by the creators of the award-winning BBC series Planet Earth, in partnership with World Wildlife Fund.

British composer Steve Price is perhaps best known for his Oscar winning score for Gravity, and his credits span features, TV series and documentaries, including WWII drama Fury, DC Comics-based Suicide Squad, as well as Attenborough’s documentary The Hunt.

Before his debut as a composer, he worked in the music department on films including The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Batman Begins and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
