A3 Artists Agency has launched a new virtual live events initiative, the A3 Approach, to maintain its touring business for celebrity clients after the pandemic brought the physical events business to a grinding halt.
The online touring experience of live events and classes will be run by the talent agency’s touring division launched in Feb. 2020, with talent agent Joe Fucigna at the helm.
The A3 Approach series will kick off with an interactive Broadway whodunit mystery, Murder at Montgomery Manor, starring Dear Evan Hansen star Andrew Barth Feldman; a game night with Olympic gold gymnast Shawn Johnson and her husband Andrew East; and a set design workshop hosted by Emmy winner Jason Ardizzone-West.
“The A3 Approach demonstrates the adaptability of the agency as we pivot in how we conduct our touring business while continuing to expand the services we offer clients. Our new initiative will do just that. It will create opportunities for our clients to engage in a new, yet still authentic way,” A3 President Brian Cho said in a statement.
Also upcoming as virtual touring events is a comedy workshop by Chuck Sklar (The Chris Rock Show), a songwriting workshop by guitarist and songwriter Sammy Boller, and a playwriting workshop by Steph Del Rosso (The Gradient).
The A3 Approach series will host virtual workshops by expert clients; entertainment, including online variety shows, live podcasts and performances; and Instagram Live, where A3 clients hold interactive sessions on Instagram. The virtual series will vary in price from free to up to $60 per event.
A portion of proceeds from the A3 Approach series will be donated to varied charities, starting with Color of Change.
