Randall Baumberger on Thursday was named president of Paramount Pictures’ studio group.
He will oversee the group’s day-to-day operations, which include environmental health and safety matters, legal and finance affairs, facilities and plant operations and technical services.
Baumberger will report to Paramount Pictures COO Frederick Huntsberry.
“Randall’s diverse leadership experience will be instrumental in helping the studio group achieve the many opportunities that lie ahead,” Huntsberry said.
Baumberger joins the studio from Colorado-based consumer electronics retail chain Ultimate Electronics, where he was president and COO. Before that, he was president of Game Crazy, a national retail chain and division of Hollywood Entertainment specializing in video game consoles and software. He also held senior executive positions at Disney.
Baumberger begins his new position Monday.
