Andrew Jackson has been promoted to senior vp marketing for BBC Worldwide Americas.
In the newly created position, Jackson, who was upped from vp marketing, BBC America, will continue to oversee all the on and off air marketing for cable channel BBC America, while also working with other U.S. based BBC Worldwide entities.
The move follows BBC Worldwide’s consolidation of its American business under president Garth Ancier who has already re-structured business affairs, communications and finance. Jackson will continue to be based in the company’s New York headquarters reporting to Chris Carr, Chief Operating Officer, Channels.
