BBI Films has picked up distribution rights to writer/director/actor Damian Chapa’s action spy thriller flick “Fuego” in Benelux. The Amadeus Pictures production stars Chapa stars as a Latino James Bond-type character sentenced to die in a Mexican prison. He’s given another chance when he’s asked to infiltrate his old spy organization and save the Mexican president’s daughter. Chapa is the founder of Amadeus, and has recently directed and starred in “I.R.A.: King of Nothing” with Rachel Hunter and”El Padrino” with Jennifer Tilly.
