Braun worked with Martin-Coppola during his two-year stint atop Yahoo Media Group that ended in late 2006.
“She is an incredibly dynamic and skilled executive who will be invaluable to us as we continue in our efforts to create quality entertainment across all mediums,” Berman and Braun said in a statement.
Martin-Coppola was director of strategy at Yahoo Media Group and was responsible for new business initiatives, mergers and acquisitions. She began as an executive producer at Yahoo Studios, where she developed and produced digital programming, including the Yahoo Talent Show and the MTV Movie Awards.
Founded in February, BermanBraun recently established a strategic alliance with NBC that allows it to provide creative content across all properties and platforms of NBC Universal Television.
